Salary: $760/weekly for in house to $1200weekly for travel

Role Overview: As a Shop fabricator , you will play a vital role in our client's operations by customizing heavy-duty belts and rubber components to meet customer specifications. You will have the opportunity to work either in-house or on-site at customer locations, showcasing your skills in belt customization and installation. Shop Fabricator - Belt Technician Responsibilities:

  • Build and repair belts: Utilize your expertise to construct and repair belts and conveyor belt components, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
  • Install and vulcanize conveyor belting: Skillfully install and vulcanize lightweight and heavyweight conveyor belting, guaranteeing optimal performance and longevity.
  • Receive and verify incoming parts: Thoroughly inspect and validate incoming parts, materials, and supplies, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain an organized stock area and follow sales orders with utmost attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean work area: Keep your work area neat and orderly, fostering a safe and efficient environment for all team members.
  • Pick up and deliver orders: Assist in the efficient pickup and delivery of orders, stock, and supplies, ensuring timely availability of required materials.
  • Fabricate, install, and repair conveyor belting and systems: Demonstrate your versatility by performing a range of duties related to fabricating, installing, and repairing conveyor belting and systems, contributing to the smooth operations of our client's projects.
  • Ensure safety and proper equipment usage: Work diligently to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Exercise proper care in the use of tools and equipment, and promptly report any defective equipment, materials, or unusual conditions.
  • Adhere to safety rules and regulations: Follow all prescribed safety rules and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and upholding the highest safety standards.
  • Represent our client professionally: Embody the values and professionalism of our client, upholding their reputation and commitment to excellence at all times.
  • Wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Ensure your safety and compliance by wearing the required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) throughout the workday.
  • Additional duties as assigned: Be prepared to take on other responsibilities as assigned by the team, supporting the smooth flow of operations.
To be successful as a belt shop technician it will be helpful if you have the following:
  • Proven experience in field service work: You bring a minimum of 1 year of experience in field service work, maintenance, or other hands-on work, demonstrating your ability to excel in a similar role.
  • Organization and attention to detail: Strong organizational and prioritization skills, along with an unwavering attention to detail, will enable you to handle inventory, documentation, and tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong mechanical background: Your solid mechanical background equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to work with heavy-duty belts and components effectively.
  • Precise measurement interpretation: You have the ability to interpret and verify precise measurements using a tape measure, ensuring accuracy in customization and fabrication.
  • Basic math and computer skills: Proficiency in basic math skills and computer literacy enables you to complete necessary tasks with ease.
  • Mechanical aptitude: Your natural mechanical aptitude allows
