What you will be working on: Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a Sr. Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer at Blackspoke. Work on a development team, utilizing Agile Scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintaining an agency-wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a variety of application stacks and data services. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments Support OpenShift operators and frameworks, including Crossplane, Kyverno, and RedHat GitOps Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions Support data services, including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack Compile detailed documentation What you will bring to us (Required Skills): Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline 5+ years of developer experience Meets DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements, including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Would be nice if you bring the following (Highly Desired): Experience deploying and managing RedHat OpenShift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment Experience with Amazon Web Services Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and Git Familiarity with Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS Experience with CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps Familiarity with container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem Desired Certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift What you will get: The opportunity to work on critical, high-impact projects that contribute to national security A high-growth environment with numerous opportunities for professional development A collaborative team environment that values innovation and efficiency A competitive benefits package that underscores our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent Location: Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO US Citizenship Required with Active Clearance Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
