Qualifications and Skills:
Licensed Dietitian (L.D.)
. Bachelor's Degree (Major in Food and Nutrition-preferred)
. Registered Dietitian (R.D.)
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, teamwork and collaborative skills
Strong leadership and communication skills are essential
Provides innovative ideas and is able to train others using creative client-centered methods
. Reading writing, and development of instructional age/culture specific materials, ability to assess nutritional status.
. Ability to work under tight deadlines, ability to organize and prioritize, ability to handle details with ease
. Ability to interview others, good use of medical terminology, current driver's license, instructional and communication skills

Responsibilities and Duties:
The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for the optimal nutritional care of all our clients following the American Dietetic Association's Nutrition Care Process model. Works closely with the Call Center Associates and Room Service Hospitality staff for optimal customer service. The Clinical Dietitian communicates the client's nutritional needs/status to health care professionals and serves as the nutrition expert on hospital's interdisciplinary health care teams. This position is responsible to ensure that department nutrition policies, modified diet menus and standards are followed so that the department provides quality food, service, and nutrition at a destination '10' level. Takes necessary actions (including coaching/ counseling/training, supervising or evaluating) to support our destination-10 culture; to meet our department goals; to have adequate staffing coverage; and to meet the nutritional needs of the patients we serve. Performs needed quality audits/checks, including patient rounding and other D-10 reports. Keeps abreast with industry nutrition standards. May assume the duties of the call center associate. Serves as relief for our Outpatient Dietitian serving Home Health, Diabetes Skills and Self-Management, Cardiac Rehab and Out-Patient Medical Nutrition Therapy services.
Pay Rate: $35.73-32.17
