Job description
Duties In this position you will work in the Military Personnel Division, Directorate of Human Resources as a Human Resources Assistant. Responsible for the maintenance of military personnel records. Ensures that the force maintains deployment readiness by working with installation leadership to ensure that Solider information is accurate and up to date. Reviews incoming regulations and directives relating to administration and military programs, functions, and procedures, determines impact on current operations, and keeps the Director informed on pertinent changes. Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of occasional travel. Specialized experience: to qualify at the GS-07 grade level: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in the federal service. Oral Communication For GS-05 - Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-04).
