Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Sr. Architect with 15 to 17 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Snowflake SQL and Snowflake, with a preference for those with domain experience in Payer. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects, contributing to the company's mission and making a significant impact on society.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake-based data solutions to meet business requirements.
- Oversee the development and optimization of complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain data models, ensuring data integrity and consistency across the organization.
- Implement best practices for data security and compliance, safeguarding sensitive information.
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Snowflake and SQL technologies, applying new knowledge to improve existing solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architectures, processes, and procedures.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management practices and methodologies.
- Ensure seamless integration of Snowflake solutions with other enterprise systems.
- Certified Snowflake Architect, SnowPro Advanced

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $ 170,000 - 182,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock options, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
