Job description

Title: Inventory Specialist
Location: Kansas City, MO Min Education Requirement: High School Education Clearance Required: Active Q clearance (or Top Secret) About the Opportunity
Inalab has an immediate opening for Inventory Specialist/Asset Manager to support our contract with the Department of Energy in Kansas City, KS. The ideal candidate will have an active Q clearance and the necessary, proven skills and experience with inventory control and material handling, along with a history of strong collaborative relationship building and customer service. Duties: • Non-sensitive equipment receiving through a Sally Port entry (a Sally Port is a secure, controlled entry-way for vehicles having two gates)
• Unboxing Inventory after Procurement team has received the equipment via scanning
• Adhering a controlled Asset Tagging on all received equipment
• Inventory/Stock - Performing Inventory counts of equipment in the IT OneStop Mobile Equipment Storage Solution and re-stocking equipment
• Excessing of equipment - Entering excess tickets and sanitization of equipment • Imaging of Laptops and PC Required Proficiency: • Understanding of energy management systems
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively (oral or written)
• Security-minded individual with attention to detail and accuracy Education/Experience:
• Minimum high school education
• Previous experience with the DOE inventory management system (desired)
• Ability image laptops and PCs or the aptitude to learn this skill (desired) Working at Inalab Consulting, Inc.
