Job Description
The Opportunity: Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City MO is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist with surgical procedures, providing a safe environment in compliance with agency policies and procedures. The Surgical Technologist at Saint Luke's Hospital works within the organizational structure of the Operating Room, assists in the delivery of direct primary care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention.
Position Details:
Shift Day Hours: 4 - 10 hour days per week (6:45am-5:15pm & Days of Operation are Mon-Fri) - 40 hrs per week
Call as assigned - with 30-minute call response time (Nights, weekends, and holidays are covered through call shifts)
Primary function is to assist with surgical procedures
Main or Neuro Operating Rooms (primarily Neuro OR)
Experience:
Neurosurgery experience (preferred)
Surgical Setting Experience (CVOR, General, Ortho, ENT, ambulatory surgery center - ASC)
New graduates of Surgical Technologist Program, welcome to apply
Ability to scrub a variety of cases

Call Model Options:
Traditional Call - same call shifts as any other department taking call. Hours (p) nightly plus () on the weekends
Guaranteed Call Program- no scheduled work shifts throughout the week & scheduled on call 7 days in a row with a guarantee of 40 hours pay
