As a Systems Administrator, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared Systems Administrator joining our team to support our intelligence customer in St. Louis, MO. NIGHT SHIFT: Sun - Weds (alternating) 5:30PM - 5:30AM In this role, a typical day will include: Conducting real-time, proactive SLA Compliance monitoring of compute, cloud, and network resources across the enterprise. Responding, triaging, and troubleshooting system alerts indicating issues with data center components. Conducting hands-on administration of virtual machines, hosts, and other IT devices via vCenter, remote desktop protocols, and other virtualized management interfaces. Providing first contact response and initial resolution for all associated technical engineering lanes within the environment. Accurately logging, ticketing, and owning/escalating incidents resulting from infrastructure events. Managing and tracking the execution of authorized changes throughout the Change Management lifecycle. Troubleshooting, accurately tracking, and resolving assigned incidents. Creating and tracking trend reports. Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures and operational reporting protocol. Interacting with vendors to coordinate the maintenance and replacement of hardware. Maintaining extremely accurate, high-level reporting of all issues. Monitoring connectivity and ensuring SLA compliance of cloud-based systems. Provisioning thin client software. Contributing to continual improvement of IT operations and processes. What you will bring to us (Required Skills): Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or training. 5+ years of experience in systems administration. Must have current DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification (CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+ CE, SSCP) or higher. Working knowledge and understanding of the ITIL V4 framework. Experience with ITSM software suites, preferably ServiceNow. Must be eligible for a Top Secret/SCI clearance (with the ability to maintain a CI poly). Would be nice if you bring the following (Highly Desired): Hands-on experience with virtual host and server administration, Linux-based operating systems. Experience within a virtualized environment and with enterprise-level monitoring suites/software (i.e. BMC BPPM/TrueSight, HP NNM, Splunk, WhatsUp Gold, Nagios).
