For a comprehensive list of benefits, please click here: Benefits CoxHealth Job Summary The RN Clinical Supervisor works directly under the Clinic Manager to oversee and support clinical care delivery for a specific clinic location focusing on the delivery of safe, high quality care. Assists the manager with clinical staff selection and onboarding into the department, performance appraisals, disciplinary processes, departmental quality improvement projects and reports, and patient/staff satisfaction experience and score improvements. May oversee employee time and attendance, and employee scheduling. The position direct reports to the clinic manager for day to day operations and has a dotted line report to the director of nursing for oversight on the nursing body of work. The RN Clinic Supervisor utilizes the nursing process to effectively assess the needs of patients; identify a plan of care; and implement and evaluate the care provided by the care team. Coordinates and directs care given by other team members. Addresses system issues to facilitate the provision of quality efficient care. Provides oversight and management of direct clinical care and care processes across the department. The position leads the department in facilitating change, fostering innovation and self-development to achieve excellence in care delivery, patient safety, and quality. Excellent communication skills, leadership ability, time management, and problem solving skills required. Job Requirements Education

  • Required: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing Experience
  • Required: 1 year nursing experience Preferred: 2+ years nursing experience with at least one year in area of specialization Preferred: Prior supervisory or training experience Preferred: Ambulatory Clinic experience Skills
  • Proficient Computer skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams Meet numerous requests and deadlines. Delegate appropriately to other team members Represent department on process improvement, standardization, and regulatory committees Assist with developing long-term department plans. Licensure/Certification/Registration
  • Required: Current Nursing License active in the state of Missouri Required: BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire Preferred: Certification in applicable nursing specialty or ambulatory care nursing
