Springfield, Missouri

$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS (full-time; inquire about part-time and prn)

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team in a psychiatry clinic? Burrell is seeking clinic nurses who are passionate about providing exceptional care to clients across various clinics in the Springfield area. This position offers excellent opportunities for growth and a chance to work in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Check-In: Utilize virtual, in-person, and telephonic platforms to check in clients efficiently and effectively.
Lab Coordination: Obtain labs as ordered by providers, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Collaborative Care: Complete screeners with clients to determine the most appropriate course of care in collaboration with the provider.
Delegated Tasks: Assist the nurse teams by handling delegated tasks efficiently and accurately.
Resource Person: Act as a valuable resource for nursing and medical issues within the clinic.
Infectious Disease Control: Oversee infectious disease control measures, ensuring client hygiene and facility health.
Nursing Assessments: Perform all necessary nursing assessments according to service line requirements, demonstrating a high level of clinical competence.
Medication Administration: Administer medications through various methods (oral, injections, etc.) as required, adhering to service line protocols.
Medication Management: Prepare medications, conduct routine medication destruction, and address client questions and medication needs.
Patient Care: Verify client data, obtain necessary physical preliminary requirements, and assist in collecting samples and vital signs.

Qualifications:

Nursing degree from an accredited school.
Current RN or LPN nursing license from the State of Missouri.
Current certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ First Aid and Medication Aid trainer.
Prior experience in adult and youth psychiatric nursing is preferred.
