Volt is immediately hiring a Purchasing Sourcing Associate in Springfield, Missouri with a well-known industry leader. In this support role you will follow generally defined procedures and provide analytical skills to position.
This is a first shift role.
As a PUR Sourcing Associate you will:

  • Receives report of Late Purchase Orders to follow up with suppliers, adjusts Purchase Order due dates.
  • Enter SCARs with provided information.
  • Work Short Order list for Master Data maintenance / cleanup.
  • Support shipping engineering samples.
  • Enter product information into computer database and verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Basic data entry skills and computer proficiency required.

Estimated Duration 6-12 months
The ideal candidate will have:
  • High School Diploma with 1-2 years in similar position
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Accurate Data Entry Skills
  • Experience working with purchase orders
  • Microsoft Office

Pay Rate: $27.48 hr.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
