Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will be responsible for tasks related to financial statements, analytical skills, finance, financial reporting, and accounting in manufacturing and production environments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Oversee all accounting functions: AR, AP, payroll, purchasing, inventory, and closing entries.
  • Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
  • Manage financial planning, policy implementation, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Coordinate audits, tax preparation, and compliance with statutory reporting.
  • Monitor receivables, manage AP compliance, and maintain vendor and financial community relationships.
  • Contribute to company growth and risk management.
  • Lead and develop the accounting team, ensuring performance and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
  • Minimum five years in a Controller position required with at least two years experience working as a Controller in the manufacturing industry
  • Advanced payroll and cost accounting experience/knowledge required
  • Three or more years of proven leadership experience, with a focus on driving process improvements
  • Service oriented; willing to support, drive and deliver as necessary to ensure the success of the entire organization
  • Demonstrated experience with cost accounting/reporting
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience working with and presenting to Senior Management along with internal and external customers
  • Ability to deliver multiple tasks accurately in a time-sensitive environment
  • Excellent computer and technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
