Job description

Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri has an immediate opening for a PRN Licensed Therapist. We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illness.

Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri is one of the premier behavioral health residential facility providing inpatient psychiatric treatment for children and teenagers. Comprehensive care is designed for the individual, not the diagnosis. Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri is daily committed to improving patients' lives by using a patient centered collaborative approach to provide high quality care addressing both the mental health and physical wellbeing of our patients.

Our Therapist responsibilities include some of the following:
Psychosocial assessment of new patients; developing an update or detailed reassessment of the patient
Maintains contact with family and significant others in the patient's life when appropriate and provides patient and family education, support, and advocacy
Provides coordination and acts as liaison with community based social and mental health agencies
Facilitates discharge planning and conducts post discharge follow-up to assure that linkage of the patient with community resources has occurred reducing re-hospitalization
Facilitate groups with patients daily

Please apply if you have the following qualifications:
Education: Level of knowledge acquired through the completion in social work (SW) from an accredited school of social work. Unrestricted licensure in social work required. LMSW or LPC (preferred). Will consider CSW or PLPC with stipulations.

Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting with psychiatric experience preferred

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR and Handle with Care Training within 30 days of employment

Schedule: Seeking PRN Monday-Friday with some weekend availability
