We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic, hard-working, fun pediatric occupational therapist to join our team in Helena, Montana (Montana City, MT). If you want to be part of a great team and want to work and live in a friendly community, this job is for you!
Our diverse patient population allows both new and established therapists to develop and use their clinical skills in 1:1 patient care. We are a clinic that evaluates and treats children and young adults in Occupational Therapy. We are offering a part/full time work position. The right candidate will have prior experience, and/or a desire to work with children. Candidate must also work cooperatively, as part of a team, and be able to work with little or no supervision. Candidate must be competent working in the community, with other health professionals.

Job Duties
Evaluation of treatment needs
Establishing treatment goals
Planning treatment
Implementing the plan of care through direct treatment
Providing instruction and education to patient, family, and caregivers
Providing accurate, timely documentation of treatment
Participating in appropriate, approved educational and clinical research activities
Collaboration and effective communication with other team members
Mental and Physical Demands
Ability to maintain emotional control under stress and empathize with staff, supervisors, and families.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and calendar according to impending deadlines.
Ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to ensure personal accountability.
Ability to compute and compile reports and perform calculations.
Ability to use reasoning and analytical skills.
Ability to meet the physical demand of working with young children, such as bending, climbing, crawling, grasping kneeling, reaching, squatting, standing, stooping, twisting, and sitting on the floor.
Experience
Occupational therapy (4 years preferred but not necessary)
Pediatric Experience (preferred)
License
OT
Must be licensed in Montana or capable of obtaining a MT license
Registered with NBCOT
Education
A minimum of a master's degree in OT from a University that is accredited by the
Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
Additional certifications: CPR certified, valid driver's license
