Job description

Summary: The Night Custodian (Substitute) will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility during the night shift. This position will be on-call and will fill in for the full-time Night Custodian when they are unavailable. Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Dust and wipe down surfaces Empty trash and recycling bins Restock supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels Monitor and maintain the security of the facility Notify management of any maintenance or safety issues Follow all safety protocols and procedures Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred Ability to work independently and efficiently Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning Strong communication skills to report any issues or concerns Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time Flexibility to work on-call and fill in for the full-time Night Custodian as needed. Must be able to pass a background check and physical test.
