Job Description Summary:

Join Our Team and Coordinate Complex Surgical Schedules. Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for healthcare? We are seeking a skilled Procedural Scheduler to join our Neurosurgery department.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule complex neurosurgical procedures, including surgeries, consultations, and follow-up appointments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Assist with managing patient flow and minimizing wait times.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient case scheduling.
  • Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and implement solutions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in healthcare scheduling, preferably in a surgical setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
