Position Overview:

  • Providing primary care directly to patients and indirectly by working with other members of an interdisciplinary team to formulate treatment plans
  • Participating in community outreach, patient education, and prevention programs
  • Maintaining patient files, encountering information, correspondence, clinical data, and other information in a confidential and careful manner
  • Examining the health of a patient to help make proper diagnoses of clinical conditions and prescribing medication, treatments, and follow-up care as required
  • Educating, advising, and empowering patients on preventive healthcare and disease prevention
  • Participating in ongoing learning to help formulate innovative, predictive, and preventive diagnostic or wellness programs
  • Recording and properly filing all patient documentation in the facility's electronic medical record


Requirements:

  • Board certification/board-eligibility in Family Medicine required
