Job Summary
  • The Physical Therapist is accountable for organizing and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy programs in the hospital, outpatient services and outreach sites to restore function and prevent disability.
  • Helping patients reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic and Benedictine heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
  • Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Religious Directives
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Coordinates patient care and delegate's activities to PT Assistants, PT Aides, Physical Medicine Receptionist, Nurse Aides and other health care team members.
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's or Doctorate degree preferred
  • 1-2 years' experience preferred
License/Certification/Registration
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Nebraska
  • BLS certification within 60 days of hire
Work Schedule
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 48 hours every 2 weeks
Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
  • $35.00 - $53.00
