Job description

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • MUST be able to type 25-30 words per minute

  • Must be able to read and comprehend basic work- related written and verbal instructions, in English

  • Must have good organization skills

  • Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation)

  • Ability to lift between 15 and 20 pounds

  • Ability to push / pull mail carts and shred bins

    Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Production experience preferred

  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment

    What does a RAPID Operator do?

  • A RAPID operator is responsible for capturing information from mail pieces that have been returned as undeliverable. The on-screen prompts guide you through the process according to client specifications.

    As a RAPID Operator you will be responsible for:

  • The accurate input of cardholder data into the RAPID or return mail databases.

  • Operating a label printer, barcode scanner, and card reader.

  • Filing mail according to final disposition of mail piece.

  • Perform quality checks

  • Verify accurate material is used

  • Trouble shooting to resolve machine and job related problems

  • Assist in the training of other employees

  • Participating in team cross-training

  • Maintaining clean work area
