Job description

A privately owned Ag Consulting group is looking for a Consultant to join their team who will be expected to scout assigned acres and give customers a report of the results with any needed recommendations, as well as assist with farm planning. Pay will be determined DOE.

Perks of the Consultant position include:

• Pickup and fuel card

• Laptop and cell phone (or phone allowance)

Responsibilities related to the Consultant position include:

• Responsible for fertilizer and chemical recommendations

• Crop scouting approximately 3 days/week, with 2 days in the office

• Quality conversations with Elite growers

Qualifications for the Consultant position include:

• B.S. in Ag or related field preferred but not required

• 2 - 3 years of Agronomy experience preferred, knowledge of Farm Economics preferred
