We are looking for a Quality Assurance/Test Specialistwith a Secret clearance or higher to join our Naval Surface Warfare Center Team! This job posting is for upcoming opportunities with AMERICAN SYSTEMS As a Quality Assurance/Test Specialist, you will: Act as the overall Quality Assurance and Test and Evaluation (T&E) lead by performing technical and administrative management of inspection and testing on multiple projects Receive a robust benefits package that includes our Employee Stock Ownership Plan ! A week in the life of a Quality Assurance/Test Specialist: Analyze requirements to define test methods that support evaluation of project suitability and effectiveness. Coordinate project test planning with Government activities to minimize program schedule impact. Conduct testing in accordance with Government policies and procedures. Generate report documentation that provides the Government with required information to assess project development status. Maintain access to and proficiency with Government/Contractor enterprise applications required for testing and/or function as data repositories. Ensure our QMS (ISO 2700:2013 Quality Management System) is applied to all our test plan development and performance requirements. Participate in all planning and review meetings to include, Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs). Job Requirements Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance Five (5) years' experience in Defense acquisition and/or system test and evaluation BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related scientific or technical discipline Experience in coordinating test & evaluation of developmental and demonstration programs in a Defense organization with rapid acquisition Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States.
