Director of FP&A role for a technology and gaming company in Las Vegas.

Client Details

Our client is a fast growth technology, software and gaming company in Las Vegas. They have seen success with a unique gaming platform and are now looking to build a team that can help continue this growth.

Description

  • Lead the FP&A function, providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create and manage departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports and analysis to executive leadership, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Drive the annual budgeting process, including forecasting revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Implement and enhance FP&A tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and support strategic decision-making regarding investments, acquisitions, and product development.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial planning and analysis.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (CMA, CFA, etc.) preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience in the technology or gaming industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques; experience with financial software and ERP systems.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and mentorship.

Job Offer

  • Salary $170,000 to $210,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits.
  • Relocation available
