Job description

System Architect/Software Developer Location: Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret + Get to Know Us: Calvert Systems is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business located in Bellevue, Nebraska, with operations in ten states and the District of Columbia. As a System Architect/Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining software solutions that enable effective and efficient product development and information sharing. Who You Are and What You Need: High School diploma or GED equivalent required Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field such as Computer Programing, Computer Science or Mathematics preferred Minimum of five (5) or more years of relevant operational experience Experience with multiple higher level programing languages such as C++, Python, JavaScript, MATLAB What You Will Do: Develop, adapt and design software in support of analytical requirements Support data collection during evaluation planning, execution, and analysis and facilitating data collection training Facilitate data reduction, especially where software solutions have been developed to streamline tasks, to report calculate, and organize data Assist and support IT Help Desk personnel with the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of IT assets and infrastructure Design, populate, and maintain databases Develop and administer data management systems and databases and experience with SQL and SQL Server Review and evaluate proposed streamlined tasking, data sharing, visualization, and collaboration technologies to ensure compliance with applicable DOD information systems, security policies, directives, and instructions Work with various government organizations to identify, review, and evaluate candidate data sources and applicable local and national data standards Assist with modeling and simulation frameworks; software integration, development, generation, demonstration, and documentation Develop programs inside of Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio Consolidate data from different sources and generating common formats Facilitate data entry and retrieval of data for analysis and reporting What We Offer: Comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision for the employee and family 401k Plan with a company contribution; fully vested immediately Company paid Life and ADD insurance Company paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Paid Time Off (PTO) 10 paid holidays Employee Assistance Program Tuition Reimbursement Become Part of Our Team: If you have the qualifications and are eager to help us achieve our mission efforts, we encourage you to apply.
