Job Description
Job Overview: The ideal candidate will work with a variety of clients, including C and S corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Assist with tax planning and research for complex tax issues, providing support to Managers and Partners.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, resolve tax-related inquiries, and provide excellent service.
• Participate in client meetings, offering tax strategies and planning opportunities to clients.
• Work closely with the tax team to ensure timely and accurate completion of all assignments.
• Assist with tax examinations and represent clients before taxing authorities when necessary.
• Mentor and train junior staff, providing feedback and guidance to enhance their professional development.
• Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to client engagements.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax preparation and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws affecting individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation preferred.
• CPA certification or progress towards obtaining a CPA license is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while collaborating effectively with team members.
• Local candidates preferred; relocation assistance available for highly qualified candidates.
