Job description

Applicant will provide Modeling and Simulation and SIGINT expertise in support of advanced Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) testing, tactics development, and training integration at Nellis AFB, NV. The candidate should have a familiarity with SIGINT tools and reporting and the ability to independently conduct research and initiate projects as appropriate. The analyst will provide SIGINT analytical tradecraft in direct support to full spectrum combat training for the U.S. Air Force, Joint, and Coalition partners. Successful candidate will produce a wide variety of synthetic SIGINT exercise injects, as well as conduct developmental test of technologies for the Commander's training objectives. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-TS/SCI clearance
-Must be experienced with Modeling and Simulation tools, such as, ASSET and have the ability to inject signature data and manipulate data in a constructive dynamic environment.
-Must have experience visualizing and analyzing processed intelligence through operational tools to include Fade/Mist.
-Must be experienced with SIGINT tools and dissemination, know the intelligence cycle, and have the ability to integrate data as applicable in order to provide a complete analytical product. -Work directly with customers and team members and must be able to create, edit, research, evaluate, analyze, and fuse data from multiple sources to produce layered intelligence products in support of robust combat scenarios including integrated live, virtual and constructive components. -Prepare SIGINT products and support intelligence training development and assessment objectives. Collaborate and interact with analysts and operators immersed/engaged with composite force exercise operations encompassing the full spectrum of tactical employment for joint/combined participants.
-Ability to explore and learn new tools and appropriately integrate into constructive training environment.
-Requires occasional shift work to support exercise venues.
-Conducts analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature. Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
-Knowledge of modeling and simulation platforms utilized in the intelligence community.
-Knowledge of intelligence collection processes.
-Knowledge of SIGINT and GEOINT collection capabilities.
-Knowledge of intelligence organizations and systems; collection and reporting systems, intelligence information sources; techniques of identifying, collating, evaluating, and analyzing information.
-Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Candidate must be able to multitask and deliver quality products within specified timelines.
-Ability to work cooperatively as a team member in a very dynamic and demanding work environment.
-Ability to work independently with minimal or no oversight.
-Demonstrates comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the labor category. -Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced. Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines. -Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction. -Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution. -Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence. -Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems. Provides guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies. Uses argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
At least 6 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, or have associate's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 4 years of related experience, for a total of 10 years, as a substitute to the bachelor's degree. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience in collaborative work within the United States intelligence community and the United States Air Force.
-Experience in Large Force Employment exercise operations (RED FLAG, Weapons School Integration, etc.).
-Experience with National Collection Management and SIGINT Collection Management.
