Naval Surface Warfare (SUW) SME R&K Enterprise Solutions, Inc. R&K provides GREEN FLAG Exercise Support (GFSE) for the 549 Combat Training Squadron (549 CTS) at Nellis AFB, NV. As part of R&K's support, we provide highly qualified, trained and experienced personnel at three (3) primary locations: Nellis AFB, NV; Fort Irwin, CA (GREEN FLAG - West); and Fort Polk, LA (GREEN FLAG - East). R&K is seeking a Full-Time Naval Surface Warfare (SUW) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Nellis AFB, NV. Title: Naval Surface Warfare (SUW) SME Location : Nellis AFB, NV Duration: Permanent/Full-Time Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required Start Date: Anticipated 1 October 2024 Duties: To serve as the primary 549 CTS liaison to the United States Navy throughout the exercise life-cycle by providing strategic advice, technical guidance and expert knowledge. The successful candidate shall perform the following duties: Plan naval integration events into the Green Flag-Nellis exercises. Develop scenarios that are realistic and relevant to current and future joint challenges. Execute operations supervision of Green Flag-Nellis exercise vulnerability periods and assist with debriefing those events. Be available to author memorandums of agreement/understanding (MOA/MOU) to establish contracts pertaining to Green Flag-Nellis and Navy events. Be available to support additional named Air Combat Command exercises, specifically in pre-exercise planning and development. Perform other duties outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Requirements: The candidate shall meet the following qualifications: Knowledgeable on and have operational experience with current multi-service tactics, techniques, and procedures of Air Operations in Maritime Surface Warfare to support the Joint Force Maritime Component Commander to achieve SUW objectives. Familiar with the air missions of Surface Surveillance Coordination (SSC), Strike Coordination and Reconnaissance (SCAR), and War-at-Sea (WAS) strike, also referred to as Long-Range Maritime Strike (LRMS). Knowledgeable in Distributed Maritime Operations (DMO), Littoral Operations in a Contested Environment, and Agile Combat Employment (ACE). Possess experience in and understand how to integrate joint and coalition air operations into U.S. Navy operations. Close Air Support (CAS) experience desired. Open to travel (up to 25%). Open to shift work, non-standard work schedules, extended days, and weekend work to support exercise rotations.
