SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst for its client in Reno, NV (link removed) The person will be responsible for generating and evaluating financial data presented in financial statements and other reports to facilitate management decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, with a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance regulatory requirements.


• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and support decision-making processes.


• Ensure all financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies.


• Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.


• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.


• Maintain and update financial reporting procedures and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in the Energy or Utilities sector.


• Experience with SEC filing is required.


• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards.


• Experience with ERP systems.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
