Masonry Estimator

Responsibilities:


  • Manage multiple masonry construction projects simultaneously, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination. As a Masonry Estimator, you'll ensure that each project is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, develop project plans, and establish project timelines and deliverables. The Masonry Estimator will be vital in maintaining clear and open communication.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, identify potential issues or risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. The Masonry Estimator will ensure that all projects meet the highest standards.
  • Communicate regularly with project team members, providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget. The Masonry Estimator will be the primary point of contact for project updates and progress.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, proposals, change orders, and progress reports, ensuring that all project documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. The Masonry Estimator will be responsible for maintaining detailed and organized records.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, tracking costs and expenditures to ensure that projects are completed within budget and by financial forecasts.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally to maintain client satisfaction and project success.

Qualifications:


  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, focusing on masonry construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of masonry materials, techniques, best practices, and relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
  • OSHA certification and other relevant safety certifications are preferred.
