Job description

• Only qualified Quality Systems Engineer candidates located near the Reno, NV area to be considered due to the position requiring some onsite presence

Education and Experience Requirement:

Preferred Business Administration/Engineering with Quality Assurance and Document control experience

Certification Requirement:

Preferred ISO 9001 Auditing training and experience

Responsibility:

Working with quality support staff in proper protocols and QMS controls and functions

Initiating and maintaining QMS documents and procedures.

Developing and/or adapting systems to meet quality standards, making suggestions with regards to procedures, standards, and equipment to facilitate work and to streamline processes and to maintain product quality.

Support on Investigating and determining root cause of quality findings; assisting with corrective action process.

Developing good documentation best practices; monitoring effectiveness; coaching others as needed.

Supporting the implementation of paperless manufacturing initiatives.

Staying abreast of and communicating changes to QMS requirements; developing effective plans to implement actions to address them.
