Job description

• Only qualified Quality Systems Engineer candidates located near the Reno, NV area to be considered due to the position requiring some onsite presence

Education and Experience Requirement:

  • Preferred Business Administration/Engineering with Quality Assurance and Document control experience

    Certification Requirement:

  • Preferred ISO 9001 Auditing training and experience

    Responsibility:

  • Working with quality support staff in proper protocols and QMS controls and functions

  • Initiating and maintaining QMS documents and procedures.

  • Developing and/or adapting systems to meet quality standards, making suggestions with regards to procedures, standards, and equipment to facilitate work and to streamline processes and to maintain product quality.

  • Support on Investigating and determining root cause of quality findings; assisting with corrective action process.

  • Developing good documentation best practices; monitoring effectiveness; coaching others as needed.

  • Supporting the implementation of paperless manufacturing initiatives.

  • Staying abreast of and communicating changes to QMS requirements; developing effective plans to implement actions to address them.
