Position Description Are you a seasoned data professional with a passion for tackling complex problems and driving impactful decisions? This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain / maintain a Secret Level DoD Security Clearance. This position is also contingent upon an award of contract. In this role, you will: Lead and manage large data analysis projects with minimal oversight, ensuring successful execution and delivery of results. Serve as a recognized subject matter expert, providing specialized knowledge and insights to guide data-driven decision-making across the organization. Analyze difficult and often complex data-related problems, developing innovative solutions to support business objectives and operational efficiency. Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level technical team members, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality output. Influence and shape organizational policies, practices, and procedures by providing data-driven recommendations and insights. Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets, applying your deep knowledge of the field. Apply your specialized expertise within your discipline to address specific challenges and opportunities, while also drawing on broad knowledge of related areas as needed. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project management, to ensure data analysis supports broader organizational goals and initiatives. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2- 4 years of years of experience of managing large projects. An active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required. Deep knowledge of data analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies, typically obtained through education combined with practical experience. Strong leadership abilities with experience in coaching and mentoring technical teams, as well as delegating tasks effectively. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex data challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others regarding policies and practices. Recognized as having a specialty within the data analysis discipline, with broad knowledge that may extend into project management. Travel up to 10% may be required. Additional Desired Experience and Skills: Experience in a government or defense-related environment. Familiarity with government contracting processes and procedures. Proficiency in advanced data analysis software and tools, such as SQL, Python, R, or similar. Knowledge of best practices in data governance and data quality management. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. In compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $51,717.12 to $110,931.00; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
