About the POSITION:
Seeking a part-time (0.75 FTE) CRNA to join a hospital-based team of independent practice CRNA s.
Must have 3 years' experience.
This is a 2 weeks on/1 week off, rotating schedule.
independently provide acute pain services, including ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and indwelling epidural catheter placement and management
Anesthesia provides services to various specialties including:
- Cardiology
- Ear, Nose & Throat
- Gastroenterology
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Pain Management
- Podiatry
- Pulmonology
- Urology
Rotating schedule of 2 weeks on, 1 week off.
Monday through Friday:
Typically 7:30 am to 3:30 pm or so might be more or less based on caseload of the day.
Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays:
Call only. See details in section below.
Postcall weekdays are scheduled work days, as overnights are generally light. If night was busy, the postcall CRNA is the first one to be dismissed for the day to go home to rest based on caseload and anesthetists staffing for the day.
Shared call from home during weeks on service.
Approximate annual total:
34 or 35 Saturdays or Sundays
85 weekdays (including 1 or 2 holidays)
During the each 3-week cycle, on-call commitments are generally as follows:
- Week 1 : Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday
- Week 3: off
On-Call Policy requires CRNA s to be able to respond in person to the hospital within 30 minutes of notification of such need.
About the COMP & BENEFITS:
Base Salary
Call availability, weekdays (Monday through Friday) $23.00/hour or
$345.00 for 15 hours (5 pm to 7 am) Call availability, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays $28.33/hour or
$680.00 for 24 hours (7 am to 7 am) Call back $105.77/hour Projected compensation (average) for call availability and call back $63,445 Projected total compensation $228,445
CME funds $3,500
Commencement bonus $25,000
