Job description

The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes and methods while coordinating the launch of new or revised products in a medical device environment. The role involves designing production processes, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and training production personnel to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.

Description

  • Design production and assembly processes, introducing them to the production floor (NPI).
  • Evaluate design solutions for manufacturability (DFA, DFT).
  • Establish process specifications.
  • Support the development of machinery and the creation of assembly and testing tools.
  • Prepare risk analyses for assembly and testing processes (PFMEA).
  • Investigate and resolve issues in production processes (RCA, DMAIC).
  • Conduct machine and process tests and analyze process data (DOE).
  • Test and validate machines and associated processes (SAT, IQOQPQ).
  • Supervise and assess initial production runs, documenting results.
  • Create production documents, including assembly manuals.
  • Train and oversee production personnel and final inspectors.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot (electro)mechanical issues with machines.
  • Report on project progress, including time spent and milestones achieved.

Profile

In return for a competitive compensation packet, the successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelors or Masters, Mechanical or Manufacturing Preferred
  • 5+ Years Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Medical Device experience
  • Electro-Mechanical knowledge
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to relay results.

Job Offer

  • Base Salary of $110,000 to $120,000
