The Role

Fidelity Institutional Technology (FI) is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a squad, and work on emerging Managed & Advisory suite of applications. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated and able to work in a very fast paced environment. Your role as a Software Engineer will be applying your strong software development skills within a team to produce high-quality, testable, and reliably deployed code for sophisticated products and components. We want you to be motivated by having the autonomy to build and craft extraordinary solutions among a robust engineering team that will support your growth and development.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information System, or a related field.

  • Exemplary collaboration skills working with product owners, business-analyst, software architects, software engineers and quality engineers.

  • 5+ years of hands-on full stack software development experience with building and maintaining enterprise web and middle-tier internet facing web applications using Angular and core Java with Springboot.

  • Experience designing and developing RESTful services using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Swagger, Docker, XML, YAML, JSON, etc.

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment/application management.

  • Experience with building and maintaining unit tests and test automation libraries/strategies.

  • Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.

  • Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub.

  • Experience with monitoring tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Splunk)

  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment.

  • Bonus points for Managed Accounts experience.
