Job description
Position Overview: Shields Point, LLC (SPLLC) , a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC is currently seeking qualified Armed Security Guards supporting the New Boston Space Force Station located in New Boston, New Hampshire. SPLLC offers a culture of professional security specialist who are dedicated to safeguarding individuals, organizations and assets. The Armed Guard is responsible for securing the facility under established operating procedures and processes. Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Enforce regulations designed to prevent security breaches
Respond to alarms, complaints, incidents, violations and suspicious activities. Demonstrate the ability to take the appropriate action Secure/safeguard crime scenes and preserve evidence
Perform crowd management as required
Perform personnel, vehicular and building facility checks, First Aid and CPR as required
Complete all required reports, forms, and other documentation per established procedures
Staff post continuously and provide access control
Control access to restricted areas. Report violations.
Direct and provide information to visitors
May operate x-ray machines, magnetometers, hand-held wands and screen packages
Safeguard all assets
Provide assistance as required
Escort persons and equipment as needed
Conduct foot/vehicle patrols as required
Monitor unusual situations/conditions through personal or electronic surveillance. Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOPs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency diploma (GED)
Valid Driver's License
Requires US citizenship status
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Pass drug screening
No felony convictions
No person convicted of or under indictment for a crime of domestic violence is employed in any contract position requiring the carrying of a firearm. Successfully complete medical examination, annual requirement thereafter
Possess, maintain or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Minimum of one year of law enforcement or security experience, in any branch of the military A degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent course of study may substituted
Successfully complete Physical Fitness assessment. Consists of a 1.5 mile, pushups and sit ups. Clean criminal record and ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Physical fitness and ability to perform security duties, including standing, walking, patrolling, and responding to emergencies.
Maintain the minimum requirements in accordance with government contract
Obtain and maintain a NH Security Guard License
Valid CAC and maintain associated network access requirements
Successfully completing all required training including firearms, classroom and online coursework. Literate in English, requires oral communications, reading and writing reports
