Job description
Duties As an LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER, GS-0346-12, you will: Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advise and provide counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Manage and perform work for providing training, resources, and systems to ensure the efficient and effective operation of installation deployment processes. Ensure appropriate logistics readiness operation changes are implemented to enhance performance of command readiness operations. Represent the wing regarding logistics readiness issues at meetings within the organization and at conferences with JFHQ-State, USPFO, NG, MAJCOM, HQ USAF, DoD, and other agencies. Meetings and conferences in many cases are to negotiate mutually satisfactory agreements, to identify and resolve logistics readiness matters, and ensure concerted action by involved parties.
