Job description

Overview LMI is seeking a Special Security Representative (SSR) at our client site in Atlantic City, NJ. This position will be responsible for supporting management of a SCIF in coordination with the Special Security Officer (SSO). The position duties include various security disciplines: administrative security, personnel security, physical security, information security/classification management, and security education and training. This position requires eligibility for TS/SCI clearance. LMI is a private government consulting firm, dedicated exclusively to advancing the management of the government. Responsibilities Ensure SF700/701/702 are posted, collected, and retained for disposition Certify incoming/outgoing visit requests Validate all forms requiring security clearance/data access (network accounts, badging, etc.) Conduct annual emergency plan test Validate SCIF access rosters Report initial security incidents to the SSO and complete necessary documentation Conduct SCI indoctrinations, including site specific instructions/localized security briefings Request PIV card access Assist with security container combination changes in coordination with physical security staff Coordinate with SCIF SSO on submissions for alarm passcode authority Provide Classification Management guidance, to include ensuring all Information System (IS) assets have the appropriate classification labels (SF706, 707, 708, 710, and 712) Complete courier authorizations request and submit to SSO for approval and assist with proper wrapping Ensure SCI Refresher training is conducted annually Conduct annual emergency plan tests Prepare for SCIF compliance audits Conduct self-inspections Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred 3 year or more of relevant experience supporting government facility security and/or SCIF management Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Ability to effectively solve problems A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment Organization and attention to detail Possess an active TS/SCI Clearance
