The Director of Integrated Demand Planning (Verizon Value) will be the Marketing Effectiveness lead across all Marketing Value brands when it comes to media investment, spend optimization as well as campaign performance analytics & reporting across each of our channels, programs, and tactics.

What you'll be doing:
  • Developing a comprehensive marketing measurement strategy with clear objectives and KPIs, for a multi-million budget that currently lacks a formal measurement framework.

  • Making proactive recommendations based on performance measurement data to the CRO, CFO, President of Value, and other responsible teams and leaders regarding the best course of action.

  • Providing guidance on budget allocation for the Value CMO group, taking into account measurement results and strategic priorities.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the measurement strategy is aligned with the overall business goals and objectives.

  • Staying up-to-date on the latest marketing measurement trends and technologies to ensure that the measurement strategy is always cutting-edge.

  • Analyzing the impact of marketing initiatives on demand and providing feedback to optimize campaign effectiveness and ROI.

  • Contributing to the development of new product launch forecasts by incorporating market research, competitive analysis, and marketing plans.

  • Identifying and analyzing performance gaps: Investigating the root causes of underperformance and recommending corrective actions.

  • Partnering with Integrated Demand Planning, CMI and Marketing to identify new or missed opportunities in targeting, messaging, or tactical mix.

  • Working closely with the reporting, analytics, and agency teams to develop simplified solutions to establish and streamline our performance.

  • Identifying and recommending acquisition and revenue opportunities for Value Prospects.

  • Working with a large dataset environment, solving complex technical problems with the assistance of other subject-matter specialists, and partnering with other teams to drive Verizon Value initiatives.

  • Driving multiple technical and data-related projects of varying scopes and complexities.

  • Using data visualization and other data-gathering methods to either provide internal strategic direction or guide decisions for other teams.

What we're looking for

You'll need to have:
  • Ten or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience in leading a planning & reporting team.

  • Experience in analytics, strategic marketing, planning, and financial analysis.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Experience with data mining and visualization skills.

  • Experience and proficiency in SQL and working with large data sets.

  • Experience with research, analytical, and critical thinking.

  • Strategic thinking skills, rooted in Business Intelligence.

  • Strong understanding of digital channels, trends, and technologies in the prepaid wireless phone industry.

  • Experience with Data Warehousing or Teradata SQL.

  • Value Based Marketing/CRM experience.

  • Ability to create compelling narratives to influence decision makers.

  • Ability to build detailed and compelling financial business cases.

  • Presentation experience with executive leadership.

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite.

  • Code automation platform experience (BTEQ).

  • Tableau Desktop experience.

  • Demonstrated experience developing effective customer marketing strategies.

  • Expert experience obtaining, interpreting, and implementing customer insights data.

  • Demonstrated experience in documenting/optimizing end-to-end experiences and pain points

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.

  • Proficiency in using marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.

Where you'll be working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $131,000.00 and $266,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
