Job Title: Program Manager - III

Location: Basking Ridge, NJ(Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months+ (Good possibility of extension)

Competitive Pay Range: $70-80/hr on W2

JOB DUTIES:

Client is looking for a contractor to join the Digital Program Management Office (PMO) in Client Marketing organization.

You will be a strong leader, with a laser focus on the customer and an ability to actively contribute to a world-class Digital program management office.

In this role, you will work closely with all levels of our organization, and amongst digital product owners (POs), functional subject matter experts (SMEs), and IT, in order to ensure we're delivering the most valuable outcomes at the best time for our customers.

This role will also focus heavily on value stream management.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support, and potentially lead, digital initiatives end-to-end, including business case support, cost/benefit analysis, opportunity analysis, user story creation, dev, test and deployment Support the Front Door Process to prioritize all incoming work requests based on strategic priority, cost-benefit and resource capacity information

Define, document, and evangelize program/project planning, execution and reporting standards Optimize, automate, and govern the use of project and portfolio management tools such as JIRA and Clarity

Define and implement DCX portfolio level reporting to turn data into actionable insights

Develop and implement measurable criteria to validate process improvements and evaluate post-implementation success

Evangelize agile and product methodology and mindset to ensure effectiveness and scalability across DCX

Create and foster strong relationships with both business and technical partners

Create slideware that effectively conveys compelling business stories

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Four or more years of experience in portfolio management methodology and techniques. Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including waterfall and agile.

DESIRED SKILLS:

Experience in digital, web design and development, ecommerce Experience with customer LBGUPS lifecycle A master's degree. Value stream management experience.

Experience setting up and running a new PMO. Ability to influence organizational direction and departmental initiatives working up, down and across the organization.

Experience in collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders. Managing people. Experience in IT or digital marketing, ideally in an enterprise environment.

Strong interpersonal and team building capabilities. Strong presentation, analytical, and communication skills.

Willingness to challenge the status quo, in the appropriate settings and providing compelling evidence.

Experience using customer centric methods & approaches to design products and/or services.

Strategy and operations experience at a leading management consulting firm. Dedication and determination to see things through from start to finish, with a commitment to excellence.

Experience formulating and implementing strategies within well-defined time frames w/ multiple stakeholders.

Experience using agile tools and methodologies. Intermediate to advanced skill level using project management tools, office productivity, and data analytics tools.

Advanced Proficiency in Google Suite and/or MS PowerPoint and Excel.

JOB DUTIES:

This role will include:

Driving your own portfolio of work.

Proactively working with other PMO team members - employees and contractors - and supporting them to ensure our team is operating as a world-class PMO.

Leading cultural change by modeling transparency, integrity, experimentation, and focusing on driving value for our clients.

Contributing to a comprehensive digital project inventory and roadmap reflecting all planned projects across all digital experiences, and oversee the scoping, sizing of costs, benefits and budget of the projects.

Co-owning the Front Door Process to prioritize all incoming work requests based on strategic priority, cost-benefit and resource capacity information.

Defining, documenting and promoting project planning, execution and reporting standards.

Leading key strategic digital initiative launches end-to-end, including release planning with Go-to-Market (GTM) teams, release slotting with IT, and readiness assessments with cross-department PMOs. -Optimizing, automating, and governing the use of project and portfolio management tools such as JIRA and Clarity.

Working closely with IT leadership to identify resource constraints proactively and ensure that critical projects are fully supported throughout their life cycles.

Contributing to the definition, and implementation, of Digital portfolio level reporting to turn data into actionable insights.

Developing and implementing measurable criteria to validate process improvements and evaluate post-implementation success.

Ensuring the fluid management of integration efforts, working in a matrix environment with high levels of ambiguity by creating and fostering strong relationships with both business and technical partners.

Understanding our delivery pipeline from idea to value creation, identifying blockages in the pipeline and working with teams to create tests to unblock the pipeline/improve flow.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. Six or more years of relevant work experience.
