The Culinary Manager oversees the execution of recipes and menu items, ensuring they meet quality standards and align with production capabilities. They collaborate with chefs and production teams to innovate new products, streamline processes, and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recipe Development: Create and refine recipes and menu items, ensuring they meet company standards for taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor culinary staff, including chefs and kitchen personnel; provide training and professional development opportunities.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee daily culinary operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and adherence to food safety regulations.
  • Product Innovation: Collaborate with R&D and production teams to develop new products and improve existing ones; stay current with industry trends and consumer preferences.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all culinary products meet quality standards and are produced consistently; address any quality issues promptly.
  • Process Optimization: Implement and optimize culinary processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste while maintaining high standards of food quality.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and marketing teams to align culinary offerings with market demands and production capabilities.
  • Compliance: Ensure all culinary practices comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a culinary management role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong expertise in recipe development, food safety, and quality control.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent creativity and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
