Job Description: Plans, analyzes, and coordinates material availability and final approval of products through the complete production life cycle to meet production requirements. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Advises management of the status of work in progress coordinates with manufacturing, quality and supply chain organizations. Interfaces with engineering and program management as well as external customers. Ensures availability of materials and labor to meet production requirements and delivery commitments. Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions or conflicts. Essential Functions: Analyze material configuration and job order status using Windows-based computer systems and software Monitor order status, including material status, managing WIP areas, location accuracy, inventory discrepancies, manufacturing and program support, and communication support Effectively communicates status to stakeholders, including organizational leadership and multifunctional teams Demonstrates operational discipline and ownership Uses project management practices for resource planning, personnel oversight, and cost/schedule tracking Interfaces effectively with people at all levels and from diverse technical backgrounds 100% applies to all of her essential functions (all of the bullets).
Coordinate and Negotiate workflow through multiple work centers to secure needed resources while ensuring hanging customer demands, and schedule deadlines are met. Qualifications: (refer to Career Framework) Bachelor's Degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance.
Experience ERP/MRP systems is required. Preferred Additional Skills: Strong knowledge and skills within SAP with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization
Previous experience with military electronics is desired
Previous experience as a control account manager (CAM) in an EVMS environment is desired
Experience with lean initiatives or process improvement
Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation
Understanding of project management throughout the entire project life cycle
Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools and project scheduling/resource planning software
