Job description

The Associate Director Reporting role in the Record to Report (R2R) team is responsible for over-seeing the accounting and reporting activities for Client Pharmaceuticals (RUS014). Specific responsibilities would include being the Subject Matter Expert for all FSC ERP systems (SAP: PEP) and reporting tools (FCRS, IBI, BPC, etc). Responsibilities would also include but not be limited to: Month-end closings, financial reporting, balance sheet review / reconciliations.

Works collaboratively between site personnel and NOCC in Mexico with respect to general ac-counting and reporting services.

Job Activities

" Leadership position in the Accounting & Reporting team responsible for divisional accounting issues including: select technical accounting, month-end closings, financial reporting, bal-ance sheet review / reconciliations and liaison with internal and external auditors.

" Subject Matter Expert for ERP related systems (SAP: PEP).

" Subject Matter Expert for reporting tools (FCRS, IBI, BPC, etc.).

" Lead month end closing reporting process ensuring high quality financial statement footnote disclosures, highly accurate management reporting results and refines process for efficiency

" Apply observations to operational issues in compliance with International Accounting Stand-ards (IAS) and the Client Accounting Manual (NAM).

" Interact proactively with functional areas in the IM division and Group to ensure appropriate accounting and financial reporting is accomplished.

" Prepare or review Balance Sheet Review Packages.

" Complete and review account analysis and account reconciliations.

" Oversight of ongoing royalty revenue streams and agreements with third parties.

" Month-end financial closing and reporting process, as well as quarterly Subsidiary accounting requirements (completion and review of FCRS reporting packages).

" Responsible for the delivery of service levels and SLA/KPI targets for Accounting & Reporting functions.

" Collaborate with key stakeholders, including divisional business colleagues, both internal and external accounting authorities/auditors, and Division and Group Financial Reporting and Ac-counting, NOCC in Mexico, and ensure appropriate communication with these stakeholders when questions regarding accounting/reporting matters arise.

" Ensure all processes performed comply with Client standards and policies (i.e. global pro-cesses, Client Accounting Manual, Client Financial Controls Manual, Management Au-thorization Levels, etc.).

Education and other requirements:

" Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance

" Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred

" 8+ years of Financial experience

" CPA required

" Proven ability to drive meaningful improvements in performance, quality and efficiency through system and process innovation and effective project management

" Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization, and build mu-tually productive business partner

" Demonstrated understanding of key business fundamentals and value drivers

" Extensive knowledge of IFRS (GAAP), accounting and financial reporting requirements, Enterprise systems knowledge (SAP)

" Experience of managing projects driving performance (e.g. ERP implementation)
