Job description

Speech Therapy Plus LLC is looking for energetic and motivated CFY candidates or licensed speech therapists to join our dynamic team in Fair Lawn, NJ.

We are a growing private practice offering evaluation and treatment to toddlers, school-aged children, and adolescents. The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be expected to provide skilled intervention and parent training while allowing for creativity and flexibility within the sessions. Speech Therapy Plus LLC focuses on building relationships with families to help children succeed across different environments.

Pediatric experience is highly preferred. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply .

This is a Part-Time OR Full-Time position . Candidates must be available weekdays, including late afternoons/evenings.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat clients with a variety of communication disorders.
Develop treatment plans, determining long and short-term goals, and methods to achieve success for clients with a variety of communication disorders.
Complete daily treatment notes and maintain required records (e.g., progress reports, plan of care, etc.).
Collaborate with parents, teachers, physicians, and other professionals to communicate information, resolve issues, and provide services in compliance with established guidelines.
Monitor and maintain re-assessments of client services as deemed necessary by the facility and/or client's insurance carrier.
Provide client and caregiver education, and offer home exercise programs when appropriate.
Maintain a friendly and supportive rapport with clients, parents/caregivers, and co-workers.

Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state license or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Speech-Language Pathology.
Pediatric experience is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
