Overview:
As a Private Client Representative, you are the main point of contact for a select group of Kearny affluent clients, as well as other clients. You will manage their complete banking relationship across the company, utilizing a proactive and disciplined approach to generate growth in their balances. You will help acquire new clients by actively soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources.

Responsibilities:
. The clients personal advocate at Kearny Bank
• Sharing the value of Kearny Private Client with clients that may be eligible
• Actively managing their banking relationship through an advice-based approach and ensuring each client receives the best products, services for his or her needs
• Partnering with Specialists (Mortgage Reps, C&I Lenders, Business Relationship Officers) to connect clients to experts who can help them with specialized financial needs
• Respond to difficult or complex product and service inquiries from clients, team members and business partners.
• Ensuring that the clients are receiving superior client service and needs based relationship building techniques are being applied through effective profiling.
• Participate in offered training classes to maintain and acquire additional job knowledge and skills.
• Research and resolve client issues, providing feedback to the Private Client Manager.
• Engages in the relationship building and client experience process, follow up activities and referral lead generation through active use of Enact, the banks CRM System.
• Understand and embrace the corporate vision.
• Adhering to Policies and Procedures
• Demonstrate success using a value-added, relationship-oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships
• Cultivating relationships with affluent clients
• Proactively makes phone calls to existing high net worth clients and provides consultative advice to enhance, grow and retain client relationships.
• Completes monthly reports and maintains department records as requested.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience in banking or a financial institution required of which at least 3 years has been in a supervisory position
• Ability to meet/exceed client experience needs, identify client/project needs
• Knowledge of bank's products, services, sweep accounts, concept & Techniques and cash management services
• Ability to model Relationship Building Techniques and effectively cross-sell
• Ability to resolve client questions and/or complaints
• Ability to resolve conflict
• Ability to foster open communication, deliver presentations, demonstrate listening, speaking and written communication skills
• Ability to answer questions effectively, build client relationships and build internal and external networks
• Ability to act with integrity, demonstrate adaptability, work commitment and maintain a positive performance in all situations
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
• Ability to interact effectively and tactfully with all levels of the bank
• Ability to read, write and speak clearly
• Assist Business Relationship Officers and Loan Officers with business calls to existing and potential clients, as needed
