Job description

We areseeking a skilled Breast Radiology Physician to provide locum tenens coveragein Red Bank, NJ. This role is designed for a fellowship-trained breast imageror a general radiologist with significant experience in breast imaging,particularly in screening mammograms. The position involves outpatient imagingservices, focusing on interpreting screening and diagnostic breast imagingstudies.

In thisrole, the physician will perform and interpret outpatient breast imagingstudies, with a primary emphasis on screening mammograms. Forfellowship-trained breast imagers, responsibilities will also include seeingdiagnostic patients and reading screening MRIs. General radiologists will focuson screening studies at designated outpatient facilities. The expected caseloadis approximately 20-30 screening studies and 10 diagnostic studies per day,with no procedural requirements.

Schedule:

• 5 days per week, totaling 40 hours.
• No on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with a completed fellowship in breast imaging (preferred) or substantial experience in breast imaging.
• Current and active CDS and DEA.
• Valid New Jersey medical license.
• Ability to obtain necessary privileges for practice in the region.
