As a Corporate Relations Manager, you will play a key role in taking our Corporate Impact Partners program to the next level by identifying new corporate partners and deepening relationships with existing partners. You will collaborate with team members across the organization to increase and diversify CFBNJ's corporate donor base, and to build meaningful plans to support and strengthen corporate engagement in our mission, especially as we prepare to recognize our 50th anniversary.

What you'll do in your role:

Partnership Development: (50%)

Identify and pursue new corporate partners and partnership opportunities.

Collaborate with the development team to create and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies targeting corporate partners.

Facilitate employee engagement programs with corporate partners, including volunteer opportunities and workplace giving initiatives.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing corporate partners, ensuring ongoing engagement and support.

Prepare and deliver presentations to potential corporate partners, showcasing the impact and benefits of supporting the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective communication and alignment with corporate partners' goals and objectives.

Monitor and evaluate the success of corporate partnership initiatives, making necessary adjustments and improvements as needed.

Partner Engagement: (25%)

Collaborate to create meaningful team-building opportunities for new and existing partners

Develop customized communications plans for corporate partners

Welcome corporate partners on-site: volunteer groups, facility tours, special events

Represent CFBNJ at partner events

Fundraising and Grants: (25%)

Collaborate with Institutional Giving team to identify new grant opportunities /new corporate donors

Conduct category-specific research for existing signature grants

Apply for grants and prepare grant reports to support these new opportunities

Serve on teams and committees that will build subject matter expertise in key CFBNJ initiatives

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

A bachelor's degree along with at least three years of experience in business development, fundraising, or nonprofit management or a related field or 11 years of experience in business development, fundraising, or nonprofit management or a related field

Strong research skills and knowledge of the New Jersey business community

Strategic thinker with a passion for social impact

Attention to detail

Excellent presentations skills, as well as superior written and oral communication skills

Responsiveness and exceptional customer service skills, a professional demeanor and positive attitude

Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and to manage workload independently and collaboratively.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience in SalesForce is a plus

Ability to work at least three days per week in office, as well as flexibility to have a varied work schedule to accommodate CFBNJ and corporate partner events (may include evenings and weekends)
