Green House Solar is an independent local business operating out of Madison, NJ. We are currently recruiting a Administrative Assistant to join our team!

The right candidate for this position, will be a hands-on individual who is interested in pursuing a career in renewable energy and believes that the projects they are working on can change the world! We are seeking an individual who is excited by the opportunity to work directly with the Owner of the company on tasks and processes that span the entire lifecycle of our commercial and residential projects, ranging from sales and operations to customer service and accounts receivable. Responsibilities:

Answer inbound telephone calls and emails and welcome visitors to the office

Manage office calendars and set appointments

Assist with day-to-day operations, including customer service, operations, and sales

Keep the office organized

Maintain filing systems and recommend and implement improvements

Assist the Owner with daily tasks, projects, and processes

Assist with bookkeeping, invoicing, job costing, and payroll

Perform other administrative and project tasks as necessary

Qualifications:

Previous experience in office administration or other related fields preferred

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Proficient with computers, internet search, online programs and Microsoft Office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong organizational skills

Proficient with math to track budgets and job costing
