Job description

Amare Global is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee and optimize our operational processes and ensure efficiency and productivity across all aspects of our business in our manufacturing plant in Mahwah, NJ. As a leader in the mental wellness industry, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers and Brand Partners. The Director of Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, programs, and systems to streamline operations, improve productivity, and drive cost savings. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of operational activities from product development to order fulfillment. They will report to our Chief Supply Chain Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives

Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of operational activities

Implement best practices to drive continuous improvement in operational performance

Identify and implement technology solutions to enhance operational capabilities

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement

Manage and optimize the supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products

Oversee inventory management and forecasting to minimize stockouts and excess inventory

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Provide leadership and guidance to a team of operational professionals

Requirements

10+ years of experience in operations management or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position

Proven track record of developing and implementing operational strategies and processes

Experience in the health, wellness, or consumer goods industry is preferred

Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven recommendations

Excellent leadership and people management skills

Effective collaborator with the ability to work cross-functionally

Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
