At Lockheed Martin, we are dedicated to advancing the capabilities of the Aegis Weapon System through comprehensive integration, development, and testing under the Aegis Baseline computer program. We support the Combat Systems Engineering Development Site (CSEDS) in ensuring the operational readiness and performance excellence of critical naval defense systems. The Work The primary responsibility for this position is ownership and coordination for CSEDS Installation, Activation, Emergent Task planning and maintenance coordination. Individual will be the single point of contact for Activations to the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Program Office, reporting on schedule, status, materials, and matters relating to site activations under the scope of the O&M Contract. Candidate will also assist in planning and tracking progress of Facility and Tactical Maintenance projects. This will include maintenance of the site project master schedule as well as providing resource planning inputs to Management. Candidate will work closely with Site Management, Facility Engineering, Combat/Weapon System Engineering and Integration teams
Candidate will be the Site liaison to the O&M Program Office, Baseline Development Site IPT Leads, Site Management and other stakeholders in matters relating to Site Activations, CSEDS Project schedules and plans. Ideal candidates for this position would to possess a background in Planning, logistics, working with Represented Skilled Trades and a high-level understanding of the AEGIS program and related systems & processes used in implementation, sustainment, and development. Bachelors and/or Masters degree in an engineering program or related field(s).
• Experience with Test System/Lab installation
and activation. • Familiarity with System Test (Either Production test or Development).
• Experience with Microsoft Office, and
MS Project • Familiarity with US Navy terminology and practices. • Experience in Test Site engineering and Logistics.
• Experience with Site Configuration Management
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in Test Site
Planning, Activation or Coordination, Logistics or
related area
Desired Skills:
• Background in workflow planning or
coordination, understanding of Site Integration
engineering and processes
• CAM Trained and Certified. Familiarity with
AEGIS Platforms (USN/FMS, BMD and
derivatives)
• Experience briefing senior leadership on
technical matters in Bottom Line-Up Front
manner and have the ability to translate complex
topics into high level, easily related to program
level personnel.
• Project management experience.
• Strong understanding of workflow involved with receipt, installation and activation of Government and Contract Furnished Equipment. • Functional understanding of Government Property Management as dictated by the FAR.
• Understanding of CSEL, level codes and related processes, and Development Baseline system configurations as they relate to CSEDS.
• 5+ years Aegis and Facilities/Engineering/Facilities Maintenance experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
