Job description

Job Title: Business Analyst for IT Systems Job Description: The IT Strategy Business Analyst will support the customer with organizational, process, and policies improvements; particularly, focusing on defining a to-be IT Capabilities maturity model, roles and responsibilities, process flows, and requirements and compliance testing plans. Also, includes implementing the new mature capabilities to the organization, including, training, organizational change adoption, and communications.
Support the team with the assessment of existing business processes and procedures against best practices, including but not limited to CMMI, ITIL, COBIT, NIRC, NIST, etc. industry practices. Support target state process modeling and narratives, procedures requirements, and implementation planning. This role will also include developing documentation, training material, and compliance testing plans that are provided to process stakeholders as part of implementation. The IT Strategy Business Analyst will ensure high quality, on schedule deliverables, in direct support of the client and support ad hoc requests and communicate impact to planned deliverables and schedule. The candidate must be located in NJ and be able to go on site in Newark, NJ.

Must be to schedule own work to completion on schedule.
Must be able to interact with client personnel at employee, management and leadership levels.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of consulting experience with business process analysis and improvement, facilitation, workshops, and presentations.
Must have a working knowledge of CMMI for services.
Experience communicating and presenting to executives and directors.
Experience producing high quality deliverables; including, articulating the information to others through visuals/diagrams and other documentation formats.
Experience with stakeholder interview and process modeling techniques.
Experience developing a to-be strategy and incrementally supporting its execution.
Excellent core consulting skills in interviewing, writing, and communicating orally.
Familiarity with developing and leading training, communications and adoption activities. Duration: 40 hours/week, 10 month project for the Public Service Electric and Gas Co. Location: On-site two days/week in Newark, NJ, at PSEG. Three days remote.
Salary Range: $120K-$125K annual rate
Contingent: This position is contingent upon award of a contract on or around 01 Oct 2024
