Compensation will depend on the depth of candidate experience, plus an Annual Incentive Bonus, payable the following year, based on personal and company performance.

Position Purpose:

This position has direct responsibility for the management and technical leadership with development and implementation of the Utility Operations EHS Training, Injury Management and Emergency Preparedness & Response. We are seeking an experienced and passionate EHS professional to build and lead a best-in-class program that ensures compliance, fosters a strong safety culture, and equips our workforce to respond effectively to emergencies.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive EHSS training program for the Utility Division, ensuring alignment with all applicable regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, DOHS) and Veolia standards.

Conduct comprehensive Training Needs Assessments (TNA) in partnership with functional leaders to proactively identify and address skill gaps and emerging risks.

Design and deliver engaging and effective EHSS training programs utilizing a variety of methods including ILT, e-learning, VR, and gamification to maximize knowledge retention and application.

Oversee Veolia's Learning Management System (LMS), including content creation, curriculum development, training record management, and reporting to track program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Develop and implement a competency assessment process to objectively evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and individual employee skill development.

Stay at the forefront of industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the EHSS training program and maintain a leadership position in safety and emergency preparedness.

Other duties as required.

Work Environment:

Office and field environment.

Travel to individual business units, some overnight travel expected.
